Phrasal verbs básicos

En este apartado aprenderás combinaciones muy comunes de verbos con preposiciones o adverbios, que cambian completamente su significado. Dominar estos phrasal verbs te ayudará a comunicarte de forma más natural y fluida en inglés.

44.1 Phrasal verbs con get

  • Get up

    levantarse

    • I usually get up at 7 a.m. on weekdays.Normalmente me levanto a las 7 de la mañana entre semana.
  • Get along

    llevarse bien

    • They get along very well with their neighbours.Se llevan muy bien con sus vecinos.
  • Get away

    escaparse / irse de vacaciones

    • We're planning to get away for the weekend.Estamos planeando escaparnos el fin de semana.
  • Get over

    recuperarse / superar

    • It took her months to get over the flu.Tardó meses en recuperarse de la gripe.
  • Get by

    arreglárselas
